Overview: A class project to create a deck of cards using both illustration and typography. 

Challenges: As a self-imposed challenge, new suits were created as well as faces for each suit. Each face must have a unique background and creature to represent the King, Queen, Jack, and Ace.

Solution: Monsters and horror are a deep interest. Research was done to create the faces of each card. Kings, Queens, and Jacks had
non-human creatures. Aces had a humanoid creature with a piece of a skeleton being revealed. The four suits created were intended to compliment one another: sun and moon suit and the land and sea suits.
